Marrakesh Retreat – Terms & Conditions

1. Booking & Acceptance of Terms

A completed booking made via the Yoga and Pilates Limited website constitutes an offer to book a place on the Marrakesh Retreat. Booking and deposit payment are processed via Momence, a third-party booking and payment provider acting as an agent on behalf of Yoga and Pilates Limited. By completing a booking and making payment, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

2. Payment Structure

A non-refundable deposit of £300 is required at the time of booking to secure your place on the retreat. This is payable via the booking site – processed by Momence and Stripe The remaining balance is payable in instalments via bank transfer, according to the schedule below. Bank details will be provided upon booking confirmation. Please set up the payments in advance to ensure they are received by the due dates.

• £300 deposit payable on booking.
• £200 1st September 2026
• £200 1st November 2026
• £200 1st January 2027
• Remaining balance 1st March 2027

If you wish to pay your balance in full ahead of schedule, please contact us and we will confirm the outstanding amount. 

Payment Reminders 

We will send you a courtesy reminder ahead of each payment due date. However, it remains your responsibility to ensure payments are made on time, regardless of whether a reminder is received. 

Late & Missed Payments 

A grace period of 7 days applies to each instalment due date. If payment is not received within this grace period, your booking will be automatically cancelled and your place on the retreat forfeited. All payments made to date will be retained and are non-refundable. 

Refund & Transfer Policy 

All payments — including the deposit and instalments — are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable, except where expressly stated elsewhere in these Terms and Conditions. 

Travel Insurance 

As all payments are non-refundable, we strongly recommend that all participants take out comprehensive travel insurance prior to making any payment. Your policy should cover trip cancellation, medical expenses, and any unforeseen circumstances that may prevent you from attending the retreat. Please refer to the Travel Insurance section of these Terms and Conditions for further details.

3. Cancellation & Refund Policy

In accordance with the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your booking within 14 days of the date of purchase or payment of the first instalment, whichever occurs first, and receive a full refund of all monies paid, provided that the retreat has not already commenced. 

After the 14-day cooling-off period has expired, the cancellation policy is firm. All payments are non-refundable and non-transferable. 

In the event that the retreat is cancelled by Yoga and Pilates Limited, a full refund of all monies paid will be issued. 

4. What is included in the price:

• Accommodation - single or shared room with ensuite for 5 nights 

• Yoga and Pilates classes, with at least 2 sessions per day (less on arrival and departure day) 

• Breakfast, lunch and dinner (Moroccan-inspired cuisine) 

• 2 x daily snacks 

• Soft drinks and water 

• Access to the outdoor swimming pool 

Accommodation & Room Allocation 

Accommodation is provided at Villa Dinari, Marrakesh. Room type and room allocation are subject to availability and will be confirmed prior to the retreat. Yoga and Pilates Limited reserves the right to make reasonable changes to room allocation where necessary. 

5. What is NOT included in the price:

• Flights – please contact us to coordinate recommended travel options 

• UK transfers to and from airport (your responsibility) 

• Airport transfers outside of designated group times 

• Some drinks, alcohol and minibar items – payable directly to the villa 

• Travel insurance (strongly recommend) 

• Optional excursions and local experiences 

• Hammam, spa treatments and massage 

• Moroccan cookery classes 

• Tipping is customary in Morocco. If you're happy with your stay at Villa Dinari, a tip of 200–400 dhs (£15 - £30) per guest is gratefully received by the staff (Cash only) 

• Personal expenses 

Travel, Flights & Transfers 

Flights, airport transfers, to and from UK airport are the sole responsibility of the participant and are not included in the retreat price. Transfers to and from airport in Marrakesh are included in the price providing you align your flight arrival and departure with the group. 

6. Travel Insurance & Property

As this retreat takes place overseas, it is strongly recommended that you obtain comprehensive travel insurance covering cancellation, medical expenses, accidents, illness, and loss or damage to personal belongings. 

You are responsible for any damage caused by you to the accommodation or its contents at Villa Dinari and will be liable for the cost of repair or replacement. 

7. Health & Fitness

Participants are responsible for ensuring they are physically and mentally fit to attend the retreat. You are advised to consult your GP prior to travel if you have any medical conditions or concerns. 

The retreat is suitable for total beginners through to experienced practitioners, with appropriate modifications offered. You agree to disclose any relevant medical conditions to Yoga and Pilates Limited prior to the retreat. 

8. Limitation of Liability

Participation in the retreat and all associated activities is entirely voluntary and undertaken at your own risk. 

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Yoga and Pilates Limited and Shine Yoga and Pilates (Dawn Clerkson), its directors, teachers, assistants, venue owners, and affiliates shall not be liable for: 

• Any injury, illness, or death sustained during the retreat 

• Loss, theft, or damage to personal property 

• Any disruption, alteration, or cancellation of the programme due to circumstances beyond reasonable control 

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence where such liability cannot be excluded under applicable law. 

9. Force Majeure

Yoga and Pilates Limited shall not be liable for failure to perform, or delay in performance of, any obligations where such failure or delay results from events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, fire, flood, pandemic, epidemic, government restrictions, war, civil unrest, or failure of utilities or transport networks. 

In such circumstances, Yoga and Pilates Limited reserves the right to amend dates, change the location, offer a credit toward a future retreat, or provide a refund at its discretion. 

As this retreat takes place overseas, it is strongly recommended that you obtain comprehensive travel insurance covering cancellation, medical expenses, accidents, illness, and loss or damage to personal belongings. 

10. Minimum Numbers

The retreat is subject to a minimum number of participants. Yoga and Pilates Limited reserves the right to cancel the retreat if minimum numbers are not met, in which case a full refund of all monies paid will be issued. 

11. Conduct & Behaviour

Participants are expected to behave in a respectful manner toward other guests, staff, teachers, and the venue at all times. Yoga and Pilates Limited reserves the right to remove any participant whose behaviour is deemed disruptive, unsafe, or inappropriate, without refund. 

12. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
